Australian Alumni of the Philippines: Dr. Rene Abesamis (James Cook University)

“Australia offers very good scholarship programs. I was an Australian aid scholar during my masters study and I was also a recipient of the international post-graduate research scholarship during my PhD studies… Australia has one of the best marine biology programs in the world at James Cook University in Queensland. The education set a solid foundation for my career as a scientist.”

Australian Alumni of the Philippines: Dia Lacaba (University of New South Wales)

As head of international business for Human Nature, I deal with different distributors from other countries on a day to day basis. That entails understanding how other people from other cultures think…”

Australian Alumni of the Philippines: Hon. Melchor Carandang (University of New South Wales)

“Completing my graduate course in Australia opened a lot of opportunities for career growth and personal development… It gave me the tool to further advance my profession in a competitive industry.
